Chauncey, ~ 4 years Male Dachshund/Beagle  Mix Chauncey is a pint sized short legged 24 pound little guy who is likely a beagle/dachshund? Mix who is now neutered and 4 years old. This playful little guy loves to do zoomies. HE came in as a stray who was within inches of being hit by a car and was never claimeD. The shelter was packed to gills with more animals flooding in by the minute, and had just closed intake as the situation had become dire. Poor little Chauncey became urgent due to no fault of his own, just simply due to space. Chauncey gets along well with other dogs and people and was an instant shelter favorite making friends with everyone he met. This little dude will bring loads of laughs into your home and would love to have a little yard to run around in as fast as his stubby little legs will carry him! His spunky cute personality will win hearts! He has done well learning to leash walk and has started with his house breaking and crate training routine. While he will need to learn the ropes in his new home he is catching on quickly and is eager to please. He is a silly boy who will make a great playful companion. Available 7/26/21.
