Romeo, 7 years Male JRT  Mix Romeo is a 7 year old Jack Russell who was in foster care in Louisiana. He was a stray who nobody claimed. Foster says he loves to play with the older kids but wary of toddlers. If grands have been raised with critters that's ok but older please. He's been through so much we think he would do best as an only dog and a in a home without cats. Romeo will choose to crate himself when he's tired or is overwhelmed. He has been a quiet and calm dog. He will bark or whine when he need to go out, and has only had 2 accidents since being here. Both were at night and foster says she slept through his whining to go out. Romeo doesn't need a ton of space. And while he detests the slip lead, he walks perfectly well with a typical leash/collar combo. He's not excessively noisy, nor is he terribly hyper. He loves to be a lap dog. But watch under your feet because he will make every step with you. Available approximately 8/13 as he has to get neutered first.
