Sir Golden comes from Louisiana where he originally lived with his owner, who sadly, passed away. He then went with someone who did not take very good care of him and when they moved he was left behind. Luckily, someone contacted the local shelter and he was rescued. Sir Golden has been through a lot of changes and his foster mom is working to build his confidence back using positive reinforcement (he loves treats!) and helping him feel safe in his new environment. He would do best in a home without other dogs and for training purposes a fenced in yard is preferred. Sir Golden loves to be around people and enjoys snoozing close by if you are working from home or going for short walks, as long as his person is there to encourage him. He is completely house trained. Typical of huskies, he does not like being crated or confined in a small area, he needs someone with a stay at home schedule to work with him and make him comfortable. He is a sweet boy that is looking for a patient and kind adopter to give him a stable home.
