Mindy, 3 years Female Chihuahua/Sheltie  Mix SAD UPDATE. Mindy escaped from her adoptive home and was hit by a car and killed. We are all deeply saddened by the tragic loss of our beloved little girl. Our only comfort is knowing that she received so much love and care the last few months of her life. She was lovingly cared for by our volunteers and especially by her foster family, the MacKay's who saw her through the delivery of six puppies and cherished her right until the end. Mindy was loved and doted on. While we're all crushed, we will continue to honor her memory by forging ahead to save other little dogs like Mindy. She and others so deserve everything we have to give.
