Baby Ruth, 5 months Female Shepherd/Lab/Collie  Mix Baby Ruth is one of three 5 month old pups who were dumped on the side of a road on a cold rainy night in Louisiana. She was running around in the woods crying for two days. When rescued she was cold and shivering and afraid. Angels watch over these discarded souls as a kind-hearted couple took him in and nurtured him until his freedom ride to Massachusetts. They wrote that "She is timid at first, and at first she hid when she felt comfortable she loved attention. She is the leader of the 3 and is very strong." She loves a soft blanket. She will play with the other dogs for hours and she loves to swim and explore the yard. She's house trained if shown the outdoors routinely. She's a sensitive soul so please be gentle, never raising your voice to her, but only use all-positive, reward-based training. She weighs 16 lbs. Available 12/10/19.
