Tilly is a recent return. She's a nineteen month old gorgeous Shepherd mix who originated from Russia. She loves to play with toys, loves to play with other dogs. She attended doggy daycare on a regular basis and was a star. Tilly is housebroken, crate trained, and on a very consistent schedule. She’s been trained to Watch, Come, Sit, Down, Sit Stay, Down Stay, Shake, Stand, Wait, Leave It, Go to your Crate, Let’s Go (for a walk/in the car/for a pee), Quiet (No Bark), and Heel. She knows her human walks through a door first, and that she must sit for her dinner. She also sits to be leashed. She exhibits Shepherd-behaviors when walking on leash so needs work. We have several trainer DVDs we can recommend. Like any Shepherd she will be protective of her owner. We've used a behavior modification that is very successful but she is best in an adult Shepherd-savvy home who will work with her. Tilly has a lot to offer her new adopter. She's very affectionate and loyal to her people.
