Dixie, 1 year Female Lab/Chihuahua  Mix Dixie is a one year old petite female lab mix from Louisiana. She was a stray for awhile and the local shelter was flooded so could not take her in, but a small rescue stepped up for her. She recovered from a hip injury that healed on its own and it doesn't bother her. She weighs around 27 lbs so was labeled as a small Lab/Chihuahua mix. She is super sweet and affectionate and grateful for a warm bed. She is great with other dogs and was with seniors and small male dogs. She is a little fearful of children, will shrink from them, so socialization will need to be slow. She's great with adults though. She's also afraid of the vacuum cleaner. She can do stairs easily and is crate trained. She's a gem! You don't want to miss out on this awesome dog!
