Phoebe, 1 year Female German Shepherd Dog Phoebe has been with us for a month now and has kenneled amazingly well, but she needs a home! She is an amazingly smart and loyal dog! Phoebe is a beautiful one year old GSD who is looking for her forever home. She loves to chase tennis balls and usually brings them back. Her loyalty is her only downfall. She was relinquished for being over-protective of young children and since we've had her she will protect women too. She might do best with a single male who she doesn't feel such a need to protect (advice given by GSD rescue). We would love a Shepherd-experienced adopter who knows and understands the breed.
