Chewbacca is a ten month old Labradoodle who was originally relinquished because his family could not meet his exercise needs. He was raised with a seven year old boy and is excellent with older kids and other dogs. He was recently adopted, and we were careful not to place him in a home with SMALL children, but were not told about the small grandchildren that stay with their grandparents during the weekdays, and he was too much for the small ones. He's just a BIG puppy!
He needs a fenced in yard and lots of play times with a household who has the time for an active dog.
So, if you wish to apply for Chewy, please be a stay-at-home or a family with flexible hours with NO small chidren (under 8 or 10) visiting or in the household. He is a delightful dog who has a lot to offer. He knows sit, lay down, and bring me the ball. He is completely housetrained and goes to the door to ask to go out.
This is not a dog who can spend long hours in a crate so please only apply if you can meet this dog's exercise and attention needs. He will make someone a wonderful companion!
