Chewy, 2 years Male Yorkie/Wire-haired Dachshund  Mix Chewy is an adorable little dog who loves other dogs and loves to play. He loves his toys, eats well, is totally house broken. He's great on leash and loves walks. He would be best in an adult home who understands the small dog quirks. When you first meet him he likes to meet you on his own terms and doesn't like to be picked up until he knows you. He's very affectionate and cuddly with his people. Chewy is shy with new people, but if you give him a few minutes he's soon on your lap. He get on your lap when he's ready. Experience with small dogs is a must and a home without children is required for this sensitive soul. He's in a foster home with visiting grand children and is doing great, but is supervised with kids. He has his favorite grandchild too. Chewy is available by private appointment once we receive your application.
