Roxy is a very sweet, very energetic 2 year old Collie mix. She is definitely a herding breed. She has been spayed, treated for heartworm, and is ready for her new forever home.
She has lived in a foster home with many other dogs of all sizes and breeds. She did great with them all but might be too much for smaller dogs. She would do best with a fenced in yard and another dog to play with. Right now she's in a foster home and is getting lots of daily walks, which she loves.
Roxy's foster mom says "Roxy is an energetic dog but has settled right in and is not hyper or out of control at all in my home, she naps after a long morning walk but is always curious as to where I am in the house. She is very well behaved (when I first brought her home, she jumped on the bed, with a simple "off" she immediately got down.
She will chew on a bully stick and likes to chase after a ball or squeaky toy. She does have high prey drive and will try to chase a squirrel or rabbit on walks.
I have left Roxy uncrated while I did errands and she naps when I'm gone.
She is quite the cuddle bug and very sweet."
She weighs 43 lbs.
