This very sweet senior lady who has been a faithful companion, now finds herself in need of a new home through no fault of her own. Shadow is in excellent general health, is up to date on her veterinary care and is on Heartguard. She is not overweight, has a nice shiny coat and likes a diet of dry food. Of course, she is not adversed to a "people-food" treat but she does not jump up or steal from people or counter tops. Her only problem, which is often expected at her age of 11, is that she does have some arthritis in her hind quarters. This has not been a major problem for Shadow because it is well controlled with Rimadyl which allows her to have a good quality of life and a positive future. Shadow loves to be outside, go for rides in the car and she enjoys moderate walks. Shadow wants to be a companion again. She has lots of love and lots of life ahead of her.
