Pearl, 2 years old Female Cattle Dog  Mix PEARL IS FINALLY HEART WORM NEGATIVE AND IS HERE. Pearl is the mother to a litter puppies who came up a few months ago and were already adopted. Pearl is now 50 lbs. Pearl is a sweet dog and was a good Mom to her pups and now it is her turn. She would gently push the bowl of food over to the puppies to be sure they ate. She let them nurse well beyond typical weaning. They stayed with her until they were 11 weeks. She was heart worm positive as is the case of many adult dogs from the south who are forced to live out doors and not given protection from mosquitos.
