Stella, ~10 Female Lab/Boxer  Mix Stella is a sweet senior dog looking for a peaceful home. She is a local dog who lived with a male Shih Tzu. Both dogs co-existed, but didn't interact and she seems to like it that way as she seeks human attention over dog attention. She is friendly and gently playful. She lived with 2 older kids so she will be a great family dog with kids 8 and older. She is housetrained and loves her walks. She is great on leash and greets other dogs enthusiastically but gently. She is nervous in the car right now but with practice might be just fine. She was recently in a large, noisy shelter so is still a little shell shocked from that experience and hence is a little timid with new people gentle adopters would work out best for her. She does startle at noises so a quiet home is what she wants. She follows her fosters from room to room and settles in whatever room they are in.
