Socks is a 3 yr Jack Russell / Corgi mix who is EXTREMELY SMART and DELIGHTFUL. For the right adopter who appreciates the Jack Russell personality, she is going to be a laugh a minute. She loves squeakies and tennis balls and finds great joy in picking her toys out of the big toy box at the shelter. She will dig to the bottom to find just the right one. Then she'll toss it around and have a ball! She is a fun-filled dog and quite comical the way she plays. She is Corgi-sized, but is more like a big Jack Russell, so full of funny antics. She is house broken. She has been a house dog, not left to live outdoors. Socks minds well and is good on leash. She needs room to play as she is an energetic dog that loves people so a fenced yard would be ideal. She is good with cats but best as an only dog, but could live with some male dogs. She likes small male terriers at the shelter, but is intimidated by large female dogs. She's not a "dog park" dog. She was an owner surrender to a shelter. The family lost their home due to financial struggles. She misses being with a family so please make her a part of yours. She would be best with older kids.
