Meet Kiki, who is a purebred shih tzu, approx. 8 years young. This little gal is like a puppy. She is SO happy and so friendly, it's hard to believe that she really hasn't ever been a "pet" as far as we know...She was used for breeding and was socialized (taken out of her cage and interacted with) but has not lived in a home environment. She was brought into rescue when the breeder was done with her and going to put her down. Kiki deserves so much better and has many more years to live life to the fullest as your new best friend!
Kiki was so happy after she arrived, ready to go to her foster home, that she couldn't stand still. She was exploring and eating and wagging her tail, and looking all over and wanting attention after a long ride, that it was hard to get her to stay still for a "photo opportunity". You have to see her to fully appreciate what a gorgeous girl she is!
She has the usual pleasing temperment that is the "true tzu". If you have a ton of love to shower on this wonderful girl and have it returned 10-fold, please apply today.
She is currently in a foster home with other dogs, but we do not know how she is with cats or kids. More information will be posted as her foster mom gets to know her better. This little one is not spayed yet, but will be fully vetted before she is placed in her new home.
