Katie is a black purebred poodle, saved from a breeder who was ready to put her down because she was done breeding her. Katie is a young girl, with many more years ahead of her to learn what life is all about as someone's beloved pet and companion!
She' s not sure what to make of affection yet, but sits beside her foster mom while watching TV and follows her every footstep. She's a little shy when approached, but just needs time to settle in and get used to her "new life" in a home environment. Her foster mom thinks she'll be a plucky, sweet companion. Katie is completely unfazed by the big dogs (is in a foster home with 3 larger dogs); She had her first meeting with one of the bravest of the cats in her foster home, and was curious, but no interest in chasing or such.
Katie has not been socialized with children, so we will not be placing her in a home with small children.
