Rosie, 4 years Female Australian Shepherd / Border Collie  Mix Rosie is a beautiful and gentle female, 4 yr. old Australian Shepherd whose previous owner brought her to the shelter when he had to move for financial reasons. She was so upset and stressed out that we could not leave her behind. She has been such a pleasure to have here in her foster home. She loves to lay under the desk while her foster mom worked. She also would spend part of the day laying on the back deck. She will practically climb in your lap when you pet her and will wrap her front paws around you when you stop petting her. Rosie is not so interested in the other dogs, she is fine with them just is not interested in playing. She would rather spend her time with the humans. She walks on leash, uses the dog door and has had no accidents in the house. Rosie gets very nervous during thunder storms, so will need a thundershirt possibly. She will hear the storm coming long before you hear it and will start panting and following you around. We have homeopathic remedies that we will try on her as those often help. She is available to be seen on 6/15/13 at our shelter.
