Mateo, 2 - 3 years Male Norwegian Elkhound  Mix Mateo is a nice medium-sized dog who needs a home. He is friendly and affectionate and just wants love and attention. He is around 35 lbs. He is likely 2 or 3 years old. He is a calm fellow, he has a fluffy tail and he did really well for us on a leash. He is not high energy and appears to be a well behaved young fellow. He has a nice thick sable-colored coat. He received his second health certificate on 2/20/13. He is already neutered and up to date on vaccines. He has an old hip injury that we had x-rayed and it has healed and doesn't bother him. The vet feels as long as he's kept active and slim that he shouldn't have problems. He doesn't have a limp or anything like that, just a funny looking hock and left hip looks larger than the right. He rides great in the car and is just the happiest fellow. What a nice dog!
