This is Chopper. He is 10 lbs and is almost 12 weeks old, the perfect time to leave his litter mates and join his new family. He is a good little eater and a very curious pup. Like many pups, he will get into things when nobody is looking. He is sweet and adorable, plays all day and is working on his house training. He will most likely be small sized, but who really knows what size he will be. But does it matter? Look at how cute he is. Puppies need a stay-at-home or work-from-home situation and are best kept safest in a fenced in yard, which is a requirement for adopters who have young children. The fencing we recommend is inexpensive and easy to put up and it makes caring for a pup so much easier. See our adoption application under Apply to Adopt, for details on fencing requirements. He will most likely be shown the weekend of 12/8/12. It helps the shelter volunteers if you send in your application ahead of time so we have a chance to print it out and have it ready your arrival.
