Sally, ~ 6 years old Female Beagle

Sally is a very sweet 5-6 year old Beagle who came up north for adoption via private adoption. She was no match for senior housing as she comes from a rural environment. A suburban setting would be fine as long as there's easy access to the out doors. She loves to sniff around in the grass and bushes. She's not a dog for a runner, but would be fine for retirees. She's very gentle with dogs and cats and good with children, but we're not sure how old so we'll try to find out. She was originally found at a deer hunting camp in Arkansas, alone and very pregnant. Now that her pups are gone, she's been spayed and vetted and is looking for a home of her own. This sweet girl deserves a wonderful retirement home where she can feel safe and where she can smell the roses. She loves to just sniff around the back yard. A fenced in yard would be ideal but if you're a walker who can take her out every day where there are lots of nice things to sniff, then you'd be a good home too. Applying online is faster than doing it in our lobby and your application stays on file if you should need to apply it to other dogs at our shelter.
