Anastasia is a Black Lab/Bassett mix who recently lost her home when the family business failed and they they had to move in with relative that couldn't take dogs. Asia, as she's called (also Si Si) has lived with other dogs and was at one time "joined at the hip" with a Border Collie. She loves to swim and is very comfortable in the water. She would walk off leash with her former owner and would stay on the trail. Her Date of Birth is 8/3/08. She was spayed at approx. 6 mos. old. She lived with a young man in her first home who trained her and took her every where. She is house broken too. She has lived with extended families including grand parents and young ones. She was not wild about the toddlers, (so grown children would be best), but loved the adults and seniors and all the dogs. She knows come, sit, stay, etc. She has lived with large dogs and small dogs. She's not fond of large male dogs when she first meets them. She will be available after her health exam the week of 7/2/12. We have a strong application for her, but will take back up applications as well.
