Molly is a ~7 yr old 12 lb. female Rat Terrier mix who is looking for her forever family. She is an adorable little dog. She might have a little Italian Greyhound in her.
Molly was rescued from an animal shelter in TN. When her owners left her at the shelter, she screamed. It was so heart-breaking to see. She was not adapting to the shelter well at all as she had always been a house dog. Needless to say she is insecure right now and will need someone with some patience to help her regain her sense of security back. She has been in foster a short time and has been doing very well. At first she would always follow foster mom and never let her out of her sight, but is not so needy anymore and is really beginning to relax and not worry. Although she is 7 yrs. old, you would never guess it as she is very active and spunky, prancing all around. She gets along with all the dogs and cats at the foster home. She is house trained and has had no accidents. She doesn't enjoy the crate, but as an adult dog, she won't need the crate for long as she's not destructive. She walks well on her leash and has all vetting updated. She is a pretty little dog and seems pretty healthy. She would probably do best in a home where people are around, especially in the beginning so that she can settle in. She loves attention and will be a very loyal dog and deserves a family that will love her and never abandon her. She is available on or around 4/26/12.
