Rikki is 35 lb mixed breed dog who is from TN originally. She is around 2 years at the most, is recently spayed and up to date on vaccines. She is ready for her own loving family. She was at the animal shelter in TN with 2 other dogs, one of whom was Ethel who came to Save A Dog last month. Rikki is truly the most wonderful dog. She is great with all foster mom's dogs, but claims the biggest and softest dog bed. At the shelter she shared a run with Ethel and another dog. She loves to run and play with other dogs. She is very quiet and very content to just take long wonderful dog naps all day, she has never bothered foster mom's 2 cats, and she greets strangers that come over with a wagging tail. She never once had an accident in the house; she has access to outside with a doggie door and will always use it. She will sleep in her crate but also has been good in the house; she never tears anything up. Foster mom has been working on leash training, at first she would lay down and hide her face, but now as her confidence grows she is walking much better on leash and just needs someone to spend some time with her. She will walk off leash right by your side. She will not jump on people and is never mouthy. if she is worried about something you will know because she will have a very soft little whine, super easy going dog that would fit in with any family.
