Jackie is a 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier /Dachshund mix who is adorable and adoptable. She has been in foster care and is really an amazing dog. She adapted to her new life very quick and showed that she is house trained, crate trained, walks great on leash, is good with dogs of all sizes, people and cats, although is afraid of children (she shakes when children are present, so we don't know if it's lack of socialization). She has not been a barker, nor has she been hyper. She is an all around good little dog. She seems so calm for a JRT and she is much tinier than her picture makes her appear to be, weighing only 15 lbs. She had a sad life before her rescue. Her previous owners bought her as a pup and never even named her. She was tied on a chain to a dog house for 3 years and then they decided they didn't want her anymore (thank God) so brought her to the shelter. She is spayed and current on vaccines.
