Pete, formerly Apollo, was adopted in March 2011 and is being returned because his owners say he chases the cats. He's a cute dog who would make a great pal for someone. He is very energetic when outside and loves to run. He needs at least one very long walk a day and several short ones, but if he had a fenced in yard where he could run, he would be very happy. He's not a dog you can stick outside and forget about as he will escape to go find people to be with. He is a true companion animal. He originally lost his home when one of his owners passed away. He's a good dog. He's totally house broken and will not get into your stuff. You can trust him not to destroy anything. IIn the house, he's a couch potato and will sit and watch TV with you, so an older person home during the day would be fine as long as there's a younger person to run with him or take him for long walks at the end of the day. Ideally, a young working person living with a parent would work for him, but a couple who have flexible hours would work well too.
