Nora, ~ 17 weeks Female Heeler/Collie
Mix
|
Nora is an adorable puppy who needs a nice home. Her foster mom says about her: She is absolutely blossoming. She is so much more confident than when she first came here. She is an excellent snuggler - I wake up in the morning with her curled up next to me, her chin on my leg. She likes to give kisses, is a good eater (especially when there is chicken involved), is playful with other dogs and entertains herself with toys as well, she is respectful of the cat, very quiet (I've only heard her bark a couple of times), and is submissive - I think she will be very easy to train. She is good in the crate - no noise at all - and keeps it clean and neat. She's an absolute love. Chandler, Emma, Joey, Monica, Nora, Phoebe, and Rachel were born in early June to their mother, Ginger, who is a beautiful, mild-tempered, gentle 30 lb. red Heeler/Collie mix. They have all been fostered since 5 weeks old and are good with all animals and respectful of cats and are very horse-savvy as their pen was next to the horse corral. Because they spent extra time with the mother and with their litter, they are not mouthy like typical pups. They are a little shy with people at first and in new situations. All the previous pups who were adopted are doing fine, so we expect the same for the remaining pups. They are playful and normal acting pups. They all have sweet temperaments.
