Rachel, ~ 3 months Female Westie/Border Terrier  Mix Imagine throwing away a 3 month old puppy who is as innocent as can be! We can't either, but that's what happens every day in rural parts of the country. Rachel and her littermate, Lenny, were brought to the shelter in the sweltering heat -- to be euthanized! Thank God for angels who rescue some of these pups. Rachel is a very energetic puppy who is playful and adventurous. She needs an experienced terrier owner as she is full of herself and very terrier-like in her behavior, so would not be a dog for small children. She's very curious and is into exploring. She loves her toys and rides great in the car. She is very happy in any ones arms and always wants to be carried around and cuddled.
