Hi there! My name is Jake. I'm a 4 year old chocolate Lab mix. I recently lost my family when they moved into an apartment where dogs are not allowed. I am a nice size, about 40 lbs. I was raised with kids 9 and up and they adored me. Every day they would throw a ball for me. I come with my bed, my toys, and my 'chuck-it' toy for ball throwing. If you show me a tennis ball, I'll be your best friend! My mom says I am the most obedient and wonderful ham of a dog. I was trained as a pup and will perform all commands, including holding a treat on my nose until you say it's okay to eat it. My family doted on me and loved me very ,very much, so the people at Save A Dog want to make sure I get a family who has time for me. I am up to date on all my shots, am neutered, and very healthy. I love people and am considered "ball crazy" but I'm lovable and will be loyal to the end. I was not raised with other dogs or cats, so that would have to be explored.
