Update: We raised part of the money for Dallas, but his medical bills are $798, not counting other expenses. Dallas needs sponsors for his heart worm treatment ASAP so that he can be treated and then might have a chance at a new life in dog-friendly New England. He is a 50# golden mix. The vet says he is 3-4 yrs old, but he looks older in this picture, possibly because of the heart worms. He is a super sweet dog ...both with people and other dogs. He is good in the car, on leash, at the vet's office, at the groomer's. He licked the groomer the whole time she was bathing and brushing him. He loves to give you his paw and to be petted. You could not ask for a sweeter dog. Dallas' story is: He showed up as a stray in rural TN and some people kept him for a month trying to find his owner. He is here with us now and is an awesome dog. Once he gets daily brushings, he is going to be one gorgeous dog!
