Martha is a really friendly spayed female about 1 year old Retriever. When we first got her she was a jumping bean, but she has been transformed into a very well behaved dog. Martha is currently in a foster home and her foster mom says she is doing great. She is learning all sorts of manners - sit, down, drop it, stay and walking nicely on leash. She is learning quickly and will do just about anything for a treat. She LOVES to play with both dog friends and human friends alike, will fetch toys/balls if she's in the mood and loves to run. A fenced yard would be ideal so she can run freely. Martha also loves to go for walks/hikes and once the weather gets warmer would love to go for a swim. She rides well in the car. She met a cat the other day and was curious about her but didn't chase the cat. Martha is quiet in her crate, and just needs a little treat to go in. She is such a sweetheart who gives lots of kisses.
