Gavin is a fluff ball mix who is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is around 1 yr old, weighs 55#, and came from a kill shelter in TN. He could still grow as Newfie's have a long growth period, though he is a mix so he will not be Newfie size. He is great with other dogs, and is not interested in cats. He has low to medium activity level, and likes walks, being petted and brushed. He's a quiet dog who dislikes loud noises or voices, and though not generally very playful, he has been playing with a shepherd pup that is currently with him. Gavin was not raised with children, so we don't know how he'll respond to them. Available 7/24/09. Our process is that you fill out the application first, then in one or two days we will contact you if your application is a match. Please read our guidelines under Apply to Adopt as some dogs require a stay-at-home and some dogs require a fenced in yard. Phone calls are discouraged as it takes time away from the care of the dogs to answer questions that might already be on our web site. We tend to put down everything we know. If information is missing, it's usually because we don't know. :-)
