Dillon, ~1 Year Male Lab / Golden/Cattle Dog  Mix Dillon was a favorite at a local animal control in TN and the workers there asked fro him to be rescued. He always wants to be with his people and will follow his foster mom everywhere she goes. He is playful, but not hyper and does very well with other dogs. He loves to spend his time with people; he doesn't like being alone very much. He has two kids in his foster home ages 7 and 9 and has done beautifully with them. He does not guard his food and is friendly to everyone. He is housetrained and seems to ignore the foster mom's cats. He is good in the crate but like any young dog doesn't like to be there too long! Dillon has been neutered, is up to date on all his vaccines and is on heartworm preventative.Our process is that you fill out the application first, then in one or two days we will contact you if your application is a match. Please read our guidelines under Apply to Adopt as some dogs require a stay-at-home and some dogs require a fenced in yard. Phone calls are discouraged as it takes time away from the care of the dogs to answer questions that might already be on our web site. We tend to put down everything we know. If information is missing, it's usually because we don't know. :-)
