Boone is a tricolored Australian Shepherd/Retriever mix. Because he is tricolored and of shorter hair, people think he looks like a rottie. He is NOT a rottie. We have pictures of the parents and he has the naturally bobbed tail of the australian shepherd and a beautiful thick coat. When he gets older he will look more like the Aussie. He is a very smart little pup, very alert, full of personality, so playful. He is 8-9 weeks old and has had two health visits and is up to date on vaccines. Our process is that you fill out the application first, then in one or two days we will contact you if your application is a match. Please read our guidelines under Apply to Adopt as some dogs require a stay-at-home and some dogs require a fenced in yard. Phone calls are discouraged as it takes time away from the care of the dogs to answer questions that might already be on our web site. We tend to put down everything we know. If information is missing, it's usually because we don't know. :-) He is available now and is in a foster home.
