Buddy is a 10 mo old Wheaton mix who is available. His owners said he was hit by a car, and upon examination he had hip surgery as well as repair to an injured leg. Buddy weighs 25 lbs. Buddy gets matted if not brushed daily and it hurts him to be brushed when matted. If brushed daily, he doesn't mind it. He needs a stay-at-home, someone with time on their hands who can devote themselves to training and care. He shouldn't be allowed to rough house with other dogs so probably is best as an only dog. His foster mom says he is the most loving, wonderful dog. Since he has recovered from his surgeries he likes to run and play. Application process is on Apply to Adopt on our web site. Our process is that you fill out the application first, then in one or two days we will contact you if your application is a match. Please read our guidelines under Apply to Adopt as some dogs require a stay-at-home and some dogs require a fenced in yard. Phone calls are discouraged as it takes time away from the care of the dogs to answer questions that might already be on our web site. We tend to put down everything we know. If information is missing, it's usually because we don't know. :-)
