Midas is a 3 month old puppy who was advertised "free to a good home". He came from a family who got him for their kids. They had to move and did not take Midas with them. He seemed happy and healthy for two days, then was straining to urinate so was brought to an emergency clinic an hour away from the rescuer’s home. The clinic found that he had a stricture in his urethra and needed surgery. After his surgery he had to have a catheter in for 10 days and they said he would need close supervision during that time so he stayed at the hospital. The vet clinic was nice enough to give a discount for a medicated boarder rather than a hospitalized puppy, but even so, his medical bills came to over $1,100. If Midas had not had the surgery, he would have died. We are trying to help raise funds to pay for this puppy’s surgery. His foster mom/rescuer says: You have to promise to find the perfect, stay-at-home mom for Midas! He is the most precious pup I've fostered....so confident, sweet natured and holds eye contact as if he understands
everything being said to him! He loves to snuggle, falls asleep in my lap every night and wants
to be picked up and held every time I am in the room with him!
