Last year's annual dog walk was another huge success, proving that Paws in the Park is the place to
be this summer!
This year we will have a Micro-Chip Clinic in Booth #26!
A Micro-Chip ID implant is the best way to ensure your pet’s safe return should he or she become lost.
Some of the activities that will be running throughout the day include Blue Dog Group Frisbee Team,
an Agility Try-out ring, Micro-Chip Clinic,
demonstrations, Parade of Adoptable Dogs,
Doggie Games, face painting for the kids, a silent auction, raffles, food vendors and more.
If you adopted a dog from Save A Dog and will be at Paws in Park this year, don't forget to have your
name added to the Who will be at Paws in the Park? page!
This list was very popular last year and we had quite a few reunions between siblings.

"I always enjoy doing this event, because you have continued to have a great
turnout of rescues and vendors, it is organized, you have good demos, testing for CGC, food,
entertainment (DJ), a silent auction, a walk, games, plenty of water for those dogs that get hot
(something for everyone)...I always enjoy meeting new people, vendors and rescues, as well as attendees.
I think that this is a great event for families and animal owners. This event gives potential
adopters the opportunity to get information on different breeds and to meet them."

"We had a super time last year! It was great meeting the other rescue groups
and their dogs. It felt great being part of a worthwhile cause finding homes for all our beloved
dog breeds. My Boxer, Brodie and My Daughter won 1st prize in the kissing contest! When we adopted
him they told us he wasn't a big kisser....boy we proved that wrong! All in all the day was picture
perfect in every way and we are looking forward to being there again this year!"
