5th Annual Dog Walk Paws in the Park 2005
Paws In the Park 2005 > Who will be at Paws in the Park?

Who will be at Paws in the Park 2005?

We get numerous emails from adopters asking about other dogs who have been adopted through our program. Also, the volunteers that work so hard to rescue and foster these dogs, just love seeing them again! Paws in the Park is the perfect place to meet up with the dogs and their families.

This page has gone over so well in the past years, we are going to do it again. It is for those of you who want to tell other adopters and volunteers that you will be at Paws in the Park 2006.

Send your name, dog's name, dog's former name, the month & year he/she was adopted and any brief message you would like posted. If you have a current picture, attach that too! Email your information to webmaster@saveadog.org.

We will have a bulletin board and index cards available at the Information booth. These cards can be used to write messages to siblings and/or volunteers regarding where/when to meet. We are planning to set up a meeting area. Ask at the Information booth where this area is.

Millie

Millie (formerly Joely) will be attending her first Paws in the Park. I adopted Millie in April 2005 and she is doing great! I can't remember life without her! She has really settled in and is feeling very comfortable and secure in her forever home. I will be posting a sucess story soon now that I have some great pictures of her (she is very camera shy!)

Remi

Hey, we just wanted to let you know that Remi (Formerly Lady Jane) will hopefully be attending the paws in the park. We cant wait to see who attends and we hope that we can see some of Remi's siblings. We adopted her in December of 2003. We also hope to see her foster mom and cant wait to see who else attends!!!

Brady

Hi, just wanted to let you know that Brady (formerly Ranger) will be attending his 1st Paws in the Park since adopting him last January 2004!!! Brady is really hoping to see some of his sisters and brothers especially Skillet who he was in foster care with!!! Brady has come such a long way since we’ve had him and really adores us. He also LOVES other dogs. We send him to daycare once a week for socialization and he cries as soon as we turn down the street! So we are very happy to be able to bring him and support the place that brought him to us!!

Erin and Jeffrey Gilbert

Lily

Lily (was Maisey, adopted 8/03) will be at Paws in the Park. Still hoping to one day meet her sister (was Maggie, also adopted 8/03)!

Krista

Hello!

Just wanted to send a quick note to say that Krista (formerly Kristy) will be at Paws in the Park this Sunday. We adopted Krista in April 2005 and she is doing absolutely great! She has adjusted so well to being with us and we adore her to pieces! She is so great with new people she meets as well as kids, so all of our friends and family adore her just as much!! Krista (and her new parents!) will be at our first Paws in The Park this weekend and we're hoping that maybe Krista's old friend Diesel will be there too? See you all there!

Julia and Joseph Zaino

Bailey

Hi,

We are planning to attend with our dog Bailey. Her name was Dailee when we adopted her in July of 2003.

She is doing fantastically. We get tons of compliments on her excellent behavior and beautiful looks. Bailey has truly made our house a home.

Will Sheryl be there on Sunday? She fostered Bailey and we would love to see her again.

Regards,
Garrett Cerulli

Druha

We adopted Druha (former name Patrick) in May 2004. He's doing so well now and has completely adapted to our home and lifestyle! He's such a treasure to us! We could not have asked for a better dog! I've attached a picture of him. Please add us to the list!

Sincerely,
Melissa Wright and Bryan Hayes

Lady & Daisy

Looking forward to Paws in the Park so we can all say hello.

Sagey

Hi!

Sagey, adopted in October 2004, will be at her first Paws in the Park this year! We can't wait to thank the volunteers and meet the other dogs!

Katherine and Marco Pomponi

Casey

Here is Casey (formerly Precious) who we adopted March 2005 and will be attending Paws in the Park in June. Casey goes to day care during the week and plays with the “big” dogs. She just started school and hopes to graduate with honors. She spends her time between her houses in Hudson, MA and Cape Cod. She loves running on the beach chasing birds or playing with the other dogs. She sleeps in a big bed, has many toys and loves to go for walks. She is a Red Sox fan and will also be following the Patriots this fall. She is our baby and we cant thank you enough for letting us adopt her. We look forward to seeing everyone on the 12th.

Tollee

Hello our friends at Save A Dog, Tolle will be attending your PAWS event this year. I think Tollee will be happy to say she kept her name, it seemed to fit her well. Tolle has adjusted well and has learned to walk on a lease, although gets distracted easily so we hope she will walk during the walk. We also understand that Tollee had some companions, and we hope they will get to see each other. I believe Kiki and Spike, are the names, so we do hope they get to reunite. Even so, I know she will enjoy seeing all her friends, especially Val and her furry children that got to keep her company while being fostered. Will see you soon!!

Jeanine, Peggy and the Fabulous Miss Tollee!!

Kiki

Kiki is looking forward to seeing her old friends again.

She is learning to be a spoiled pet. She seems to be a natural at it. She gives back so much love and is a total delight. I guess she will need to learn to catch a Frisbee. She was adopted in March. Save a Dog is made up of such wonderful people. No wonder all the dogs are such treasures. See you there.

Deanna

Maggy

Hi,

We are planning our first Paws in the Park visit in June. We adopted our precious Bichon, "Maggy" (formerly Blanca) in May, 2001. She is a delight. I wish we had 2!! I hope Fern, Blanca's foster mother will be there too.

see you on the 12th,

Gerry & Jim Cody

Katie

Woof from KATIE MCCUSKER! I was adopted in early march---have a big yard and an older sister SHEA to play with! I even sleep in a big bed with the whole family. Thank you for helping me find a good home...........I will see you in june!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jaggar

Dear Save a dog,

Jaggar (formerly BJ) will be attending Paws in the Park this year. It would be great if we could see Jaggar's two brothers, Spud and Ringo. We also look foward to seeing all of the dedicated Save a Dog volunteers, especially Mary, who was so helpful with our adoption of Jaggar.

Till then,
Joan Curtis and Ed Gilhouse

Rex

Hi

I will be bringing Rex to the paws in the park. Rex was adopted in October 04 and we kept his name. He is looking forward to seeing shirley and his foster moms.

Bob Hughes

Mickey

Mickey will be coming to his 1st Paws in the Park event and hopes his sister “Lucy” will be there too, so we can see how big she got!

Wait until you see how big I got!

Lucy

Lucy (formerly Minnie) will be at PAWS and can't wait to see her brother Mickey!!
