 Dogs Adopted in August 2005

Tammy, 4 years old Female Lab Mix    Adopted
Tammy is a 4 year old spayed female lab who was not raised with kids and is now too nervous around the baby. Older kids should be fine.

Renamed Clio. Read her Success Story.

Shadow, 11 years old Female Lab  Mix     Adopted
Shadow
Shadow

This very sweet senior lady who has been a faithful companion, now finds herself in need of a new home through no fault of her own. Shadow is in excellent general health, is up to date on her veterinary care and is on Heartguard. She is not overweight, has a nice shiny coat and likes a diet of dry food. Of course, she is not adversed to a "people-food" treat but she does not jump up or steal from people or counter tops. Her only problem, which is often expected at her age of 11, is that she does have some arthritis in her hind quarters. This has not been a major problem for Shadow because it is well controlled with Rimadyl which allows her to have a good quality of life and a positive future. Shadow loves to be outside, go for rides in the car and she enjoys moderate walks. Shadow wants to be a companion again. She has lots of love and lots of life ahead of her. To meet this great gal or to get additional information about her, contact jaw516@adelphia.net

Alpine Lace, 3 yrs old Female Greyhound    Adopted
Alpine
Alpine Alpine

Alpine Lace is a female greyhound who will be 3 years old in August. She's a beautiful fawn color with soulful brown eyes and that elegant greyhound physique. Currently she weighs about 70 pounds, but she is still on the thin side after her racing career and should gain another five pounds or so.

Alpine is currently living in a foster home with 3 other dogs (no greyhounds) and 5 cats and gets along fine with them all. She is very people oriented and follows her foster mom from room to room when she's inside. After 3 years of living at the track she's learning what a wonderful place the world can be and definitely understands the term "couch potato" already. She has learned to climb stairs and her housetraining is going well. She's already spayed and has all her shots. She walks extremely well on a leash and enjoys going on walks.

Dakota, 2 yrs old Male Yellow Lab    Adopted
Dakota

Dakota is a two year old male yellow lab who is looking for a home because his family is moving. He is good with dogs and cats. Picture available soon.

Tammy, 4 years old Female Lab  Mix     Adopted
Tammy

Tammy is a 4 year old spayed female lab who was not raised with kids and is now too nervous around the baby. Older kids should be fine.
