Petey is a very nice, 2.5 year old, male-neutered Jack Russell mix. He is a sweet little boy who weighs just over 23 lbs. He was rescued from life on a tie-out by a doggy daycare operator. Given the lack of attention and structure he has had, he is a surprisingly good dog who wants to be in one home for the rest of his life. He knows a few basic commands and is learning to walk nicely on a leash. He has learned to respond to his name and is eager to please! He comes when called but has not yet been off leash or not fenced in. He plays very well with other dogs and has lived with several. We were told he is good with all other animals except chickens. He is happy to walk, run or go to doggie daycare all day, but also will snuggle and sleep when at home. He can tend to be a little upset if he can't see you, but with consistent guidance he will gain the confidence to overcome this (and is already doing a lot better!). He is crate trained, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped. Please apply online as he is still with the doggy daycare.
